Love the natural products. It has several uses. I used it to cover a pan to keep the sauce from popping out, and it did the job successfully. My family loves them too.

At nearly $1 each these are definitely on the pricier side, but they also have the quality to back that up. These have the environmentally friendliness of paper plates, with the rigidity and reusability of plastic plates. I love the unique design of these, and that they're practically unkillable. They are washable, but I think the people using these intended on not washing any dishes at all.

While these look really good, and I appreciate that we aren't cuttng trees but giving fallen palm leaves a second life, at close to a buck a plate these come at quite the premium and I am not sure if one can really justify the cost for primarily one-time use plates, especially given how thin they are and that some came shipped with some imperfections (rough edges and what look like overly dried leaves that developed cracks - rending those plates useless for holding anything that may drip liquid.We are going with a tropical themed party and these will no doubt look great this weekend for our party but my heart will sink when i have to compost them afterwards given how much they cost. Despite the pictures showing you can use them again, I doubt many of these will last beyond a single use as they are rather thin and some already have some cracks - they look a bit thicker and more 'wood-like' if you will in pictures.Convenient and good looking yes - but it comes at a price point (for me at least given other 'green' options I can easily obtain in my area) where it is not logical to repeat purchase. I can be spending a whole lot less (we're talking easily 50-75% cheaper) for recyclable paper plates that are tropical themed that I can then again recycle if i wanted to, or sugarcane plates which I have used in the past that can also be formed into nice shapes and with motives that i can still find for about half the price of these.I'd have to say that unless you are absoloutely in love with this particular look and nothing else will do, and that price is of little concern as you will most likely be throwing them all out once your party is done despite what the pictures may indiciate, that there are more cost-efficient ecological-minded plates and dinnerware out there that can also easily fit the 'summer' / 'tropical' vibe for your party.

We used these for our Thanksgiving dinner with family and friends. It was a huge success, and we didn't spend hours in the kitchen cleaning. I felt great about the fact that they are biodegradable. After dinner, we collected the plates and put them in a large paper bag and took them to the recycle green waste can. Gave us more time to be together and thankful for what we have.

We used these for a party, and chose them because we wanted a slightly less plastic option. They were good, solid and sturdy. The only drawback was that a few plates showed up cracked and/or broken, which could have been due to shipping. They worked well and held up to soggy food and knives and forks.
