Start with the courses
The number of guests is only half the calculation. Decide whether each person needs one plate for the meal, a separate plate for dessert, or additional plates for different food stations. A table plan with one main plate and one dessert plate per person needs twice as many pieces as a single-course plan.
Naturelia's round combo contains 24 ten-inch plates and 24 seven-inch plates. That creates 24 place settings when each guest needs one of each size. Bowls, forks, knives and spoons are selected separately.

These examples round up to complete packs. The extra pieces come from pack rounding; they are not a recommended contingency allowance. Add any extra servings you need to your guest count before calculating. For a gathering needing only one plate per guest, compare the single-size plate packs rather than automatically choosing the combo.
Match the shape to the menu
Eight-inch square or round plates are options for snacks, appetizers and small meals. Naturelia sells these formats in packs of 25. For 50 single-plate servings, that means two packs; for 100 servings, four packs. Check the product dimensions against the portions you intend to serve.
Small four-inch bowls suit tasting portions and desserts. They are not dinner-sized bowls. If only some guests need a bowl, count those servings separately instead of adding one to every place setting.
Check delivery before a fixed event
